Matt Frattin in tough with Maple Leafs

Head coach Randy Carlyle has said several times over this past week that the Maple Leafs’ abbreviated training camp is going to make for some tough decisions. It’s looking more and more like winger Matt Frattin is going to be one of those decisions.

The University of North Dakota product was thought to be a strong candidate to make this year’s edition of the Leafs. He had a fairly successful campaign with the team last season, recording eight goals and 15 points in 56 games, and opened his Marlies season this year like gangbusters.
