Better late than never.

Maple Leafs defenceman Cody Franson joined his teammates for practice on Tuesday after passing his medical the day before.

Franson had been a restricted free agent, and though the Leafs have not officially announced his new contract, it’s believed to be in the range of $1.25-million US for this season.
