Leafs legend Sundin a proud poppa

Captain Mats is now a proud poppa.
Ex-Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin and his wife, Josephine, became parents for the first time when a daughter was born Monday in Stockholm, Sweden. Mother and daughter, whose name has not been revealed yet, were released from hospital on Wednesday.
"It is a very welcome child," Sundin's agent, Claes Elefalk, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. "Everything seems to have gone really well, as good as one could wish, and everyone seems to feel great. We do know that both are very happy."
Elefalk said the couple has decided on a name but chose not to announce it. Guessing that Tie -- as in Sundin's former on-ice protector and long-time buddy Tie Domi -- wasn't among the possibilities.
The 41-year-old former Leafs great, who was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame earlier this summer and will be inducted during a ceremony here in November, married his 28-year-old wife three years ago in Stockholm, after he retired from the NHL and returned to his native Sweden.
Sundin is the second Swede voted into the Hall of Fame, with another former former Leafs legend, defenceman Borje Salming, the first. He finished his career, which included 13 years in Toronto, with 564 goals and 1,349 points.
