PHILADELPHIA — Muhammad Aulie.

Surely that’s a nickname that will stick for Maple Leafs rookie Keith Aulie after he dropped Flyers tough guy Scott Hartnell in the second period of Toronto’s 3-2 victory on Thursday night.

“I don’t know about that,” Aulie said. “It was only my first NHL fight.

“Actually I was waiting to get my first one in and it went pretty well. I actually wanted to go with him earlier.”

No worries. After about 15 seconds of exchanging blows, Aulie delivered an uppercut that send Hartnell splattering to the Wells Fargo Center ice.

It was a blow fitting of someone now known as Muhammad Aulie.

Who cares if he doesn’t know if the handle is appropriate?

We think it is. That’s all that matters.
