Jiggy doesn't want any trade surprises

TORONTO - J-S Giguere isn’t looking for a ticket out of town.

But if it’s going to happen, the veteran goaltender would like to have an idea if it’s coming.

The Maple Leafs goaltender said he plans to meet with general manager Brian Burke to discuss whether he is an asset the team would like to move around the Feb. 28 trade deadline.

“We haven’t talked but I do want to take to (Burke) soon,” Giguere said on Wednesday. “I want to know a little bit about what’s going on with myself. We still have a little time ahead of us, but at the same time I don’t want to be a distraction for anybody.

“I doubt (Wednesday’s trade) is the end of it. We all knew something was coming and Burkie’s not the type of guy to wait to the deadline.”

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
