MacArthur says Gleason knows better

RALEIGH, N.C. — Nikolai Kulemin may have started it, but Tim Gleason never should have finished it.

That was the opinion of Leafs forward Clarke MacArthur who said he was “disgusted” by the rough and tumble Gleason taking on Kulemin in a fight at the end of the first period Monday night and ending it with his first brutal punch to the face of Kulemin.

“There are certain matchups on the ice,” MacArthur said. “I don’t care what (Gleason) says, you know when you’re in the right matchup. Kulemin’s never been a guy to fight and Gleason does it a lot. He knows better than that.”

Are you surprised Don Cherry backed Daniel Alfredsson's comments?
  Yes.
  No.
It's Don Cherry - who knows what he will say.
  Not sure.
