Ron Wilson was asked Tuesday about winger Nikolai Kulemin's potential to score 30 goals a season, but the coach prefers him on the first line in his present support role for now. He has 15 goals, half that of Phil Kessel on the right side.
"Every top line in the league has someone to do the dirty, grunt work and that's Kulie's identity," Wilson said. "Now he's comfortable in his own skin with what he's got to do. Let's just let it play out, not put too much (scoring) pressure on him."
Florida goalie and ex-Leaf Scott Clemmensen was kicking himself for not sticking with his home-state Northern Iowa Panthers when filling out his NCAA bracket. The school upset mighty Kansas on the weekend.
"I would've looked really good," he said. "I picked them to win one round, but couldn't stomach them beating Kansas. But I'm glad that if any team was going to bust my bracket, it would be UNI."
