FASTEST DRAW?
Dion Phaneuf drew the ire of the Sharks for drawing a couple of their penalties. Jody Shelley was livid that a squash hit by Paneuf on him into the boards in the second period wasn't called, but his retaliation was, with Phaneuf assisting on the ensuing goal.
Ryane Clowe was also angry that Phaneuf seemed to embellish a high stick that was called in the third period.
THE 40-400 CLUB
Tomas Kaberle's assist on Phil Kessel's second-period goal gave him 40 assists this year and 400 in his career, all as a Leaf. Only Borje Salming, Mats Sundin, Darryl Sittler, Dave Keon and George Armstrong have reached that many in Toronto.
COLTON CRUNCH
With last night's fight against Sharks' Jody Shelley, Colton Orr now has 129 penalty minutes, already the most by a Leaf since the 2004-05 lockout.
