GIVE JAY A HAND

Tough guy Jay Rosehill, who hasn't played for the Maple Leafs since Oct. 17 and was recalled from the Marlies on Wednesday, scored on his first shift, 55 seconds into the game, when he swatted in his own rebound while crashing the net, on a nice setup by Jamal Mayers. But the goal was disallowed after a video review when it was ruled that he batted the puck in with his hand. Rosehill did pick up an assist on Toronto's third goal.

GUNNARSSON'S BACK

Rookie defenceman Carl Gunnarsson returned from an elbow injury last night, playing his first game as a Leaf since Nov. 30 against the Buffalo Sabres. Veteran defenceman Jeff Finger was a healthy scratch.

NO FIGHT NIGHT

Despite some bad blood between the two teams, stemming from the Jan. 6 game, there was very little rough and tumble action between the two teams.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
