Leafs face net nemesis

BUFFALO -- It's Miller time again for the Maple Leafs -- but it's not likely not going to be a good time.

The Leafs take on their toughest netminding nemesis in the Sabres' Ryan Miller, whose 21 wins against Toronto are the most against any opponent. That includes four wins this season.

"Traffic in front of him is paramount," said Leaf defenceman Ian White, who together with winger Viktor Stalberg are in an elite group to have scored multiple goals on Miller the past couple of years.

Toronto coach Ron Wilson noted on Wednesday that any Leaf success against Miller came with people driving to the net, either to score or take a Sabre defenceman with him for a chance deflection.

This is a tough 48-hour span for the Leafs, who are trying to get points out of HSBC Arena and then get back to play defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh on Saturday.

It doesn't look like defenceman Mike Komisarek (upper body) will be ready for either game.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
