NO TRICKS

At least the Leafs avoided having a hat trick scored on them for a third consecutive game by the Bruins. David Krejci had three goals in the 2008-09 season finale and Marc Savard did the same last Saturday. Counting Blake Wheeler's hat trick last November, that's three times in the past seven games.

TAKING THE FIFTH

With their assists on Mikhail Grabovski's goal, Niklas Hagman and Jason Blake extended their points' streaks to five games.

MAKING HIS POINT

Leafs defenceman and alternate captain Mike Komisarek had his first point in 23 games as a Leaf, a perfect diagnonal pass from the point to a waiting Nikolai Kulemin to make the score 3-2 in the third.
