THE STORYLINES

* How many goals will the Leafs score? In their past three home games against the Sabres, they have three goals, and in the past seven overall against Buffalo, just 10, going 1-5-1.

* The Leafs have to start establishing a presence on home ice. At the Air Canada Centre, they are 2-6-3, the worst home record in the NHL.

* Keep an eye on Leafs D Mike Komisarek, who will begin trying to leave behind the first phase of his Leafs career after missing eight games with a small tear in his quadriceps.
