FAMILIAR FACE

Former Leaf Dominic Moore meets his ex-teammates for the first time as a Panther and says he has no regrets about how he left Toronto.

Dealt to the Sabres at the trade deadline last season, Moore had rejected a contract offer from the Leafs and elected to try free agency. That led to a long summer of waiting before the Panthers finally signed him just as the season was beginning.

"No one knows what the future holds, ever," Moore said yesterday. "No one foresaw the bizarre summer of free agency. Those are the kinds of things where you make the best decisions you can and I'm very happy with the way things worked out."

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
