Leafs ship rookie Bozak back to AHL

TORONTO - Tyler Bozak is headed back to the American Hockey League.

The Toronto Maple Leafs sent the rookie forward back to the AHL's Marlies on Thursday.

Bozak had an assist in his NHL debut against Colorado on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old has appeared in three games with the Marlies this season, registering one assist.
