Ron Wilson has made his Monster decision.

The Maple Leafs coach will give Jonas (The Monster) Gustavsson his first NHL start tonight against the Ottawa Senators, ending 48 hours of rampant speculation about his faith in Vesa Toskala to hold the No. 1 goaltending job beyond the first two games.

"I'm feeling a little bit of everything," Gustavsson said this morning after preceding Toskala off the ice, signalling he will be the starter. "I get a chance to start tonight and I’m thankful for that. Anything can happen."

Toskala struggled in his first two starts and had an .800 save percentage. Gustavsson stopped 16 of 19 shots in 40 minutes of action in Washington and Wilson had said he would go tonight with the goalie who was playing the best.
