POWER UP

The Leafs took advantage of a five-minute elbowing penalty to the Pens' Craig Adams by pouring in three power-play goals. Jason Blake went hard to the net for the first, Ian White snapped won home from the point for the second and John Mitchell scored the third burying one from the slot.

TIME FOR TOSKALA

The Leafs goaltending duties were split by James Reimer and Joey MacDonald last night but tonight at the Air Canada Centre, incumbent starter Vesa Toskala is expected to play the entire game. Reimer was solid playing the first half of the game, which included some good saves on Evgeni Malkin.

MISSING FOURSOME

Those battling for the bottom blueline positions got a chance to show their stuff last night. The Leafs left their projected top four -- Mike Komisarek, Luke Schenn, Francois Beauchemin and Tomas Kaberle -- at home.
