SAY, WHAT?

The John Labatt Centre announcer was booed when he introduced the Flyers as "the hometown Philadelpia Flyers." They were the home team as the company that manages the JLC, Global Spectrum, is a subsidiary of a firm that owns the Flyers, Comcast Spectacor.

FOREST CITY FACEOFF

A couple of London boys lined up against each other in the opening faceoff, Philadelphia's Jeff Carter and Toronto's Nazem Kadri. Kadri then received a standing ovation when he scored in the first period after taking a nifty drop pass from Niklas Hagman.

OLE, OLE, OLE, OLE

Philly's Ole-Kristian Tollefsen nailed Leafs centre Mikhail Grabovski with a big open-ice hit in the first period, sending the Russian's helmet flying.

JOEY MAC ATTACK

James Reimer replaced Joey MacDonald in net for the Leafs midway in the second period. MacDonald was perfect, turning aside 13 shots. Reimer made a brilliant glove save on a Philadelphia 2-on-1.
