Grabovski-Blake: Round 2

TAMPA -- Don't expect Mikhail Grabovski and Jason Blake to exchange Christmas cards any time soon.

For the second time in a month, the two players were involved in an altercation, this time during the Maple Leafs practice at the St. Pete Times Forum yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred when Grabovski hit Blake from behind during a drill, leading to a scrum that included veteran Jamal Mayers.

A couple of minutes later, Blake skated over to Grabovski and began chirping, causing Tomas Kaberle to come in and calm Blake down.

While assistant coach Tim Hunter said it was "no big deal," Blake questioned Grabovski's actions.

"I don't know what he's doing," Blake said. "Here I am, a 10-year vet ... I just don't know what he's trying to do."

During a workout in February, Blake and Grabovski appeared to collide inadvertently during a drill. A couple of minutes later, Grabovski skated up to the boards and began shoving Blake, leading to an exchange of a couple of punches before teammates broke it up.
