The wife of Brian Burke will not be back for another season of the CBC show she hosts in Vancouver, leading to speculation that Burke could be a step closer to becoming general manager or president of the Maple Leafs.
Jennifer Burke's job as host of Living Vancouver has been posted internally, The Georgia Straight magazine reported.
Rumours persist that the Leafs want Burke to be their next GM or president, but he has another year on his contract as GM of the Anaheim Ducks, who so far have refused to let him go.
