If Mats Sundin waives his no-trade clause, there is no shortage of teams thirsting for his services. Here are, according to various reports, some of the interested parties:

DETROIT RED WINGS

Close to his Toronto home ... Nicklas Lidstrom, Henrik Zetterberg, Tomas Holmstrom, Niklas Kronwall and Mikael Samuelsson were all his teammates on Sweden's gold medal team at 2006 Turin Olympics.

ANAHEIM MIGHTY DUCKS

GM Brian Burke, who holds Edmonton Oilers first-round selection, does not want to trade that pick ... Forward Bobby Ryan, the second overall pick of the 2005 draft, might be part of a deal according to various reports.

SAN JOSE SHARKS

With Joe Thornton and Mats Sundin, Sharks would be a strong one-two cycling punch that would cause trouble for the rival Ducks down deep ... GM Doug Wilson reportedly looking to make a move.

VANCOUVER CANUCKS

Would be reunited with fellow Swedes Markus Naslund and the Sedin brothers ... GM Dave Nonis might need to make another move to clear the cap space to accommodate Sundin.

MONTREAL CANADIENS

Interim GM Cliff Fletcher and the Habs' Bob Gainey spoke at length during GMs meetings in Florida ... Sundin in a Habs jersey would be a dagger to loyal Leaf fans.

OTTAWA SENATORS

His buddy, Daniel Alfredsson, has said publicly he would "love" to play on Sundin's line.
