With Scott Clemmensen apparently on the verge of starting for the Maple Leafs, we have a look at the records of recent Leafs backup goaltenders:

- J.S. AUBIN (2005-07)

Leafs record: 12-5-4, 2.83 GAA

Need to know: Almost got the team into 2006 playoffs

- TREVOR KIDD (2002-04)

Leafs record: 12-15-4, 3.17 GAA

Need to know: Not a fan of relief work

- COREY SCHWAB (2001-02)

Leafs record: 12-10-5, 2.73 GAA

Need to know: Like Clemmensen, buried behind Martin Brodeur in New Jersey

- GLENN HEALY (1997-2001)

Leafs record: 23-30-5, 2.91 GAA

Need to know: Had the chemistry to work with Curtis Joseph and the great quotes to work in the media

- DON BEAUPRE (1995-97)

Leafs record: 0-8-0, 4.84 GAA

Need to know: Best years were behind him in Minnesota

- DAMIAN RHODES (1990-96)

Leafs record: 20-18-5, 2.64 GAA

Need to know: Fought a confidence problem, but meshed well with Felix Potvin on a great defensive team
