JUSTIN POGGE, GOALTENDER

Ended the rookie camp with a shutout and is ready to put a rocky 2006-07 debut with the Marlies behind him. He'll get a lot of mentoring from stablemate Scott Clemmensen at the main camp and during the year.

The Leafs have slowly improved their farm system since the 1990s, but how do they measure progress. Here are five rookies to watch at camp:

JIRI TLUSTY, FORWARD

Good playmaker made strides at rookie camp and is feeling more comfortable every day with language and culture issues. The '06 first rounder hopes to turn his NHL camp experience into a final breakout year with the Soo Greyhounds.

DARRYL BOYCE, FORWARD

Could one day follow Errol Thompson as Summerside, PEI, products to play for the Leafs. Part of a title team at the University of New Brunswick, he impressed at the rookie camp.

JEREMY WILLIAMS, FORWARD

Scored a goal in his lone appearance with the Leafs last year and should be better this season after undergoing knee surgery in the off-season.

BRENT AUBIN, FORWARD

Leafs can't ignore the only 50-goal, 100-point scorer in their system, but the 5-foot-9 Aubin has to make those junior numbers stand up here.
