A trio of players to watch

F Jeff O'Neill

With Michael Peca being the team's only significant off-season pickup up front, Leafs need much more offensive punch than the 19 goals O'Neill produced a year ago. He has recovered well from shoulder surgery in the spring.

G Andrew Raycroft

Will the Leafs get the kid who won the 2004 Calder Trophy as top rookie? Or the guy who struggled with a 3.71 goals against average a year ago? He was impressive at the off-season school of Leafs goalie coach Steve McKichan.

F Alexander Suglobov

Easily has the pond hockey skills to be an NHL player but does he have the head? General manager John Ferguson would love to see the young Russian bring his goal-scoring pop to the big club.
