Tie Domi has been offered work by other National Hockey League teams, but might opt for retirement.

Agent Pat Morris said he and the former Maple Leafs winger will be sitting down in the next week or two for a frank discussion on what the future holds for the 36-year-old.

"We'll take some time and reflect whether to carry on or not," Morris said yesterday.

Asked about interest from other teams after Toronto bought Domi out of the final year of his $1.25 million US contract, Morris said there has been contact from unnamed teams.

'NOT SAYING ANYTHING'

"But I'm not saying anything (to them) other than what I've said today," Morris said.

Domi insisted to the very end that he could still help the Leafs on the ice and in the dressing room. But should he retire, he has many successful business endeavours in Toronto.

During two recent periods as a free agent, Domi spoke to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars before re-signing with the Leafs.
