NOTES

You think everybody in Leaf Nation loves every player in blue? One of the biggest cheers when they were announcing the lineups for last night was for Buds' D Aki Berg being a scratch ... Also scratched for the Leafs were captain Mats Sundin (still out for a while with that broken orbital bone suffered on opening night against the Senators) and W Mariusz Czerkawksi (shoulder). With Berg out, the Leafs called up Staffan Kronvall to make his NHL debut ... Senators W Martin Havlat will tonight serve the fifth and final game of his suspension for kicking Boston's Hal Gill.
