Heatley lining up with Thornton, Setoguchi?

Dany Heatley is going to have pretty good company when he arrives in San Jose.

While Heatley hasn’t arrived at the San Jose Sharks training camp while he waits for paperwork that allows him to cross the border, he’ll likely be playing with Joe Thornton and Devin Setoguchi when he does arrive within the next few days.

“They’re two offensive players and they’re two big men,” Sharks coach Todd McLellan told the San Jose Mercury News about Thornton and Heatley. “Jumbo is obviously a pass-first guy. We’d like him to shoot the puck a lot more, but when he’s passing, it’ll be nice to see it go to Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi.

“Both of those guys love to shoot the puck. We think it’s a nice combination. There’ll be a lot of pressure on them, obviously, but I believe we’ve got some guys on our hockey club that have to take that pressure and put it on their shoulders as well.”
