SAN JOSE - Justin Braun was five years old when Larry Robinson retired from the NHL after 20 hall of fame seasons.

Recollections of how dominant Robinson was during his career don't exist for the San Jose Sharks defenceman.

But Braun's father, Paul, filled him in when the Sharks hired Robinson as an assistant coach last summer.

“My dad knew the legend of Larry Robinson, so he called me up and told me all about him,” Braun said.
