SAN JOSE - The San Jose Sharks were in a state of shock.

They were left searching for answers after blowing a 3-1 lead to the Detroit Red Wings in a 4-3 loss Sunday night at HP Pavilion, and now the Sharks must travel all the way back to the Motor City to try to close out this series.

Holding a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinal, the Sharks are still in control, but just barely. Theyve allowed the Wings to push back with Game 6 set for Tuesday night at Joe Louis Arena.

The fact we lost the game is the most disappointing thing, said Sharks coach Todd McLellan. We didnt play a poor game. Thats hard to swallow. We didnt give up many opportunities.

They took advantage of some of our mistakes and they put it in the net. We get five minutes to feel sorry for ourselves, hang our heads and start the recovery process. If we play that game again, well give ourselves a good chance to win.
