PITTSBURGH - There is no respite for Pittsburgh Penguins winger Matt Cooke.

What’s amounted to the “Matt Cooke World Haters Tour 2013” winds through the NHL’s Northeast Division from Ottawa to Boston as the Penguins, who eliminated the Senators in five games, now face the Bruins in the Eastern Conference final.

Reviled in Ottawa for the incident that saw his skate cut the Achilles tendon of Senators star defenceman Erik Karlsson – we’re still waiting for the report from the forensic doctors hired by Senators owner Eugene Melnyk that allegedly will prove Cooke did it on purpose – Cooke now must face the wrath of Boston fans.
