PITTSBURGH - Three years ago, much like Wednesday, the Ottawa Senators were given a good hard shove to the brink of elimination by the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Place.
They lost that one 7-4 and were headed back to Pittsburgh down to their last life, trailing a best-of-seven, opening-round playoff series 3-1.
Did Daniel Alfredsson or anyone else really think then that they would rally for three straight wins to bump off Sidney Crosby's team? Probably not. But on the night of April 22, 2010, at least, the Senators simply refused to lose.
