The trip from zero to hero took no time at all for Craig Anderson.

Pulled in Game 2 on Friday night after allowing three goals on 21 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anderson made a quick trip back to the good books with 49 saves in a thrilling 2-1 double-OT victory Sunday at Scotiabank Place.

Only 48 hours after callers to the Team 1200's post-game show wanted backup Robin Lehner to start Game 3 with the Senators trailing 2-0, Anderson made the doubters eat their words with an effort that can win a goalie a Conn Smythe Trophy.
