OTTAWA - Jason Spezza looked good leading the stretch Sunday at Scotiabank Place.

Afterwards, he and coach Paul MacLean didn't want to get anybody's hopes up that he may play in Round 2 vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"I think he's long way away" said MacLean on Spezza. "It's just a start of the process."

The Senators centre made his first appearance at a practice since January, but he told reporters he isn't anywhere near being ready to play and will judge by practice whether he'll be back this season.
