Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens not agreeing on much off ice

Even after his obvious rallying tactic worked like a charm, Mike Therrien wouldn't let it go.

"You know what, it was not about the hit ... that I didn't like," the Montreal Canadiens coach said moments after his team's 3-1 victory over the Senators pushed the best-of-seven, opening-round playoff set back to the nation's capital knotted at one. "It was about the comment, the lack of respect. That was the reason why I was upset. Not only me. Everyone involved in our team was upset about that. I didn't comment on the hit. I let the NHL do what they had to do. It was just a matter of when I saw the comment, I was pretty upset."
