NEW YORK - Milan Michalek had no worries.
The Senators winger told reporters he didn’t do anything wrong while trying to get New York Rangers defenceman Dan Girardi off him in Game 6 on Monday. Michalek seemed surprised he was accused of kicking by New York officials.
“I wasn’t worried at all,” said Michalek.
“I was at the bottom of the pile and I was just trying to get out of it.
“I just pushed him. I didn’t want to hurt anybody and nothing happened.
“I was a little bit (surprised). (GM) Bryan Murray talked to me and I told him I shouldn’t get anything. I didn’t do anything.”
