Signed with the Ducks as a free agent in the summer of 2005 for the chance to play with his brother Rob in a market where he could remain largely anonymous away from the rink ... With 15 goals and 54 assists for 69 points, he led NHL defencemen in scoring for the first time. All were personal highs for a single season ... He's a native of Edmonton and spends his off-seasons in Cranbrook, B.C.

Senators F Patrick Eaves had an assist playing in place of Dean McAmmond in Game 4, setting LW Dany Heatley up for his first goal of the final ... Game 4 marked the first time in these playoffs the Senators lost a game after leading after the first period. They were 5-0 when leading after 20 minutes before Game 4 ... The Ducks are within a game of winning the Stanley Cup despite losing the special-teams battle in these playoffs. They have scored 14 power-play goals and two short-handed goals. They have given up 16 power-play goals and allowed two short-handed goals. The Senators, by comparison, have scored 18 power-play goals and added two shorties. They've allowed 10 power-play goals and none short-handed ... The Senators power play was 1-for-4 in Game 4, making it 4-for-22 in the series ... The Ducks were blanked on the power play in Game 4 and are now 1-for-14 with the man advantage in the series ...
