NOTEBOOK

Senators coach Bryan Murray made his first roster move of the playoffs, placing RW Patrick Eaves into the lineup in place of RW Oleg Saprykin. Eaves hasn't played since suffering a concussion after being hit by Penguins F Colby Armstrong in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarter-finals on April 19. He was a healthy scratch for the first four games of this series and missed 11 overall ... The Sabres dressed RW Drew Stafford in place of RW Dainius Zubrus. It's believed Zubrus was out with a lower body injury. Stafford said sitting out was tough, but it was easy to stay ready. "It's not hard to stay motivated at all," said Stafford. "You're part of the team that's in the conference finals."
