Ottawa Senators fans in the 613 are getting swept up in a bunch of big Belly buzz.
It was just last Wednesday when the capital rapper dashed off Go Sens Go, a fan rap featuring his pal and Sens goalie Ray Emery.
The pair met at an event last year and bonded backstage when Belly opened for Snoop Dogg in January. Belly said Emery was a natural with his line "We go hard, we win, Ottawa Senators champions baby," joking the goalie should put out his own album.
Hot 89.9 personality Kenny B was there for the taping at Belly's Greeley studio.
"He held me up at gunpoint," laughed Belly. "He made me give it to him."
Kenny B snatched up the breathy rap and played it on his afternoon drive show the next day, just hours before the Sens faced off in Game 1 against the Buffalo Sabres.
"We've been getting around 50 requests an hour for the song," said B yesterday. "It's the number one most requested song on our radio station."

Until yesterday, Hot 89.9 had the song exclusively, though several fans quickly set it to assorted team photos and posted their videos to YouTube. One, Dave Dunn, created a video that had almost 6,000 views by Monday.
One commenter ponders using the catchiest bits as a ringtone.
"This song is awesome! I really wanna download it, but I can't find it anywhere," wrote another.
Belly, who was on his way to Toronto yesterday to record a video for his upcoming album The Revolution, said he layered his own voice about a dozen times to create the addictive sound on the rap's "Go Sens Go" refrain.
He has gone back and fine-tuned the piece, adding slap shots and other sound effects, and posted it to his Myspace page (www.myspace.com/bellylive).
He is still working out details to offer it for a 99-cent download through his website, www.bellylive.com, with proceeds to charity.
Belly says Emery and the entire team are behind the venture.
"It's a phone call away," said Belly. "Everyone, really, from the Sens. They really wanted me to do something like this."
Hip-hop fans aren't the only grooving to the sound of a big, bad bandwagon. Over at Y101, morning show host Mark Papousek has been spinning a reworked version of Sens Gonna Fly, a track recorded by Calgary country singer Paul Brandt several years ago.
Yesterday, via his assistant, Brandt pointed out to the Sun that though he's a "huge (Calgary) Flames fan" he was happy to offer up one of his songs for the team.
"It's pretty cool we've got a Canadian team in the playoffs," he said.
