The A-Train should be able to get back up to full steam.
Senators coach Bryan Murray said defenceman Anton Volchenkov, who injured his elbow on a hit by Penguins winger Gary Roberts in the third period on Thursday night, should be fine for the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
Volchenkov left the ice after Roberts ran him into the end boards, but returned to play a shift before the game was out.
"He was sore," said Murray. "Knowing Anton, the day or two off will really help him.
"He kind of caught his arm a little on the wall and even when he played the shift (after), I thought he was a little tender out there. He kind of played with one hand.
"Talking to the trainers afterwards, I certainly think the couple of days will make a huge difference and he will be okay."
Murray gave his players yesterday and today off. They will be back on the ice tomorrow.
