2. SENS: Heatley throws a perfect pass to Spezza in the circle and he beats Miller glove side. Sabres 1, Sens 1

3. SENS: Miller makes the save on Volchenkov from the point, but Smolinski puts rebound home glove side. Sens 2, Sabres 1

4. SABRES: On the power play, Numminen fires a shot from the point that beats Emery stick side. Sens 2, Sabres 2

SECOND PERIOD

5. SENS: On a breakaway, Havlat beats Miller with a backhander on the stick side. Sens 3, Sabres 2

6. SABRES: Short-handed, Connolly beats Emery on the stick side. Sens 3, Sabres 3

7. SENS: On the power play, Miller makes stop on Chara, but Heatley puts rebound home stick side. Sens 4, Sabres 3

8. SABRES: Breaking in on a 2-on-1, Connolly takes a pass and beats Emery stick side. Sens 4, Sabres 4

THIRD PERIOD

9. SENS: Fisher picks up a Havlat rebound in front and beats Miller stick side. Sens 5, Sabres 4

10. SABRES: Short-handed, Roy beats Emery stick side. Sens 5, Sabres 5

11. SENS: On the power play, Smolinski into a wide-open net on a pass from Alfredsson. Sens 6, Sabres 5

12. SABRES: Emery can't handle the rebound and Connolly fires it top corner. Sens 6, Sabres 6

OVERTIME

13. SABRES: After Volchenkov fans on a pass, Grier picks up the puck and sends it across to Drury, who beats Emery stick side. Sabres 7, Sens 6

NOTES

Senators D Brian Pothier, who has been troubled all week by an undisclosed injury, took part in the morning skate, but wasn't in the lineup last night. Pothier said in the morning he would be a game-time decision, but he never even skated in the pre-game warmup ... Senators D Chris Phillips, who missed Game 5 of the Bolts series with a knee injury, returned to the lineup, while D Christoph Schubert played in Pothier's place.
