UNIONDALE - It’s been more than six years since the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum hosted a playoff game.

It’s been more than 11 years since long-suffering New York Islanders fans have seen a post-season win on home ice.

Only four current members of the Islanders were even in the NHL the last time the Islanders won a playoff game at the Coliseum, a 5-3 decision over the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game Six of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals in 2002.
