The Chicago Blackhawks believe they’ve learned their lesson.

Having taken the opening game of the last series with relative ease against the Detroit Red Wings, the Blackhawks were brought back to earth, losing the next three.

Heading into Game 2 of the Western Conference final against the Los Angeles Kings Sunday, the Blackhawks don’t intend on making the same mistake.

“I don’t think Detroit was happy with the first game, and I don’t think L.A. is either,” said Blackhawks winger Bryan Bickell. “It’s going to be an exciting, different game. I think their offense is going to be a lot better than they had (Saturday) night. We’re just looking forward to the challenge.”
