Stanley Cup: CHI @ BOS

A Stanley Cup victory by the Carolina Hurricanes will blow one of my old theories for a second consecutive season. We used to think you couldn't win a Cup without a front-line, all-star, big-time defenceman. A Chris Pronger. A Larry Robinson. But Tampa Bay did. And now the Hurricanes could be champions by the time you read this.

WEBSITE MAYHEM

If you click on selltheknicks.com, you can buy T-shirts urging James Dolan to sell the team. Among the T-shirts: Sell or Die; Stop Sucking; And a third one that is somewhat profane. Dolan, who had little sense and even less sense of humour, has filed papers trying to make the website disappear.

TY AND TOWERS

Combined, veteran Josh Towers and rookie Ty Taubenheim have started 15 games for the Blue Jays, with a combined won-loss record of 1-and-13. Towers was sent to the minors to find his delivery. Soon, it appears, Taubenheim will join him. The only statistical positive: Towers and Taubenheim have more hits this season, two, than wins, one.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
