It has been 34 years since two Original Six teams clashed in a Stanley Cup final.

Back in 1979, the mighty Montreal Canadiens dynasty of the 1970s defeated the New York Rangers to win the Stanley Cup.

On Wednesday night, for the first time since then, two Original Six teams will face off in the Stanley Cup final when the Boston Bruins visit the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 at the United Center.

Join Sun hockey columnist Mike Zeisberger for a live chat about all things Bruins-Hawks at 1 p.m.
