NEW YORK - Johnny Boychuk had a pretty good night.

The Boston Bruins defenceman just didn't have a great night.

After Boychuk scored the tying goal in what turned out to be a Bruins' 2-1 win Tuesday night, he was pumped at the prospect of maybe meeting Wayne Gretzky, who was shown on the scoreboard taking in the game with wife Janet at Madison Square Garden.

The Great One got a standing ovation from the MSG crowd and there's no doubt they wished the Hall of Famer was still in uniform -- even at 52 years of age. He certainly couldn't have been worse than any of the Rangers on the club's awful power play, as they fell into a 3-0 series hole against the Bruins.
