Henrik Lundqvist should be of great concern to the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night in New York.

Yes, the Canadiens chased the Rangers goaltender on Tuesday, avoiding elimination in the Eastern Conference final with a wild 7-4 victory.

Lundqvist was gone in the second period after four of Montreal’s 18 shots on goal to that point got past him, hooked by coach Alain Vigneault in favour of Cam Talbot.

There was some debate when the Rangers came back to within a goal after 40 minutes that perhaps Vigneault should have put Lundqvist back in to start the third period.

It’s doubtful Lundqvist would have made a save on Rene Bourque’s shot at 6:33 of the third, a goal that was Bourque’s third of the game and one that gave Montreal a two-goal lead.
