Thomas Vanek’s mind is already in Minnesota, Hockey Night’s Don Cherry asserted during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final Monday night.

And it seems Cherry’s mouth is once again running Wild.

The Habs’ winger took what Grapes deemed to be a needless slashing penalty midway through the first period.

When Hockey Night co-host Ron MacLean asked if “we should cut (Vanek) some slack,” Cherry raised his voice a little more.

“None, none,” Cherry said.

“F------ 200-feet away (from there goal),” he added. At least that's what it pretty clearly sounded like.

“They had a power-play going in a 1-1 game and (Vanek) does a stupid thing like that.”

This isn’t the first time Cherry’s let a naughty word slip on national TV.

He said f--- during a CBC broadcast of a Chicago-Vancouver game back in 2009.

The Rangers took a 2-0 series lead Monday night in Montreal courtesy a 3-1 Game 2 win.
