Chat recap: War On Ice II
By QMI Agency

Whatever progress the NHL had made in protecting players from unnecessary cheap shots this season has been pulverized in the first week of the playoffs.

The latest example from the post-season saw Coyotes goon Raffi Torres send Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa to the hospital on Tuesday night following a hit where a hard-charging Torres left his feet, made contact with Hossa's upper body and head while the puck was going the other way.

Check out Sun Media's Rob Longley and Paul Friesen as they hosted a chat on Thursday about your reaction to Torres' hit, Brendan Shanahan's past punishments and any other violent on-ice behaviour during the NHL playoffs.

Should the New York Rangers buy out Brad Richards after benching him in Game 4?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
