The Nashville Predators came out gang busters in the opening minutes, but — sticking with a trend from the previous outing — couldn’t make the most of their chances. They barely put a shot on goal.

Once again, they paid for it, and Vancouver’s Christian Ehrhoff scored with five minutes remaining to open the scoring.

However, Joel Ward, Nashville’s leading scorer and point producer in the playoffs, replied with a powerplay tally in the final minute of the period to make it 1-1.
