Short series would be a bonus for Pens

Through three playoff seasons now, Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma recognizes the value of getting a break with a short series.

His team has that opportunity Saturday afternoon when a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning would finish off Round 1 in five games and further enhance the Penguins' chances as the playoffs move on.

That said, Bylsma has seen enough from the Lightning to not expect a rollover for Game 5 at the Consol Energy Center.

"There was some crimson on our uniform after (Game 4)," Bylsma said Thursday, an off day for his team after the double-overtime thriller the night before. "That was a playoff battle in a lot of ways.

"There is not a person in our room who thinks that this is over or going to be easy.

"I think we have a good understanding of how dangerous that team is over there."
