Injured Flames Toni Lydman and Stephane Yelle skated at the 'Dome yesterday, leading to speculation both could eventually see playoff action.
Lydman, a defenceman who suffered a concussion March 14 in St. Louis, has missed the last 10 games reportedly suffering dizzy spells.
Yelle, a centre who's proven invaluable on faceoffs this season and has plenty of playoff experience during seven years in Colorado, is working his way back from a suspected hip injury.
"Unfortunately, we do have some injuries and some very good players out of our lineup who could help us," said Flames captain Jarome Iginla. "But all year we've found a way -- different guys have jumped up ... We've got huge goals from different times of the year from everybody, someone different all the time."
Flames coach Darryl Sutter wouldn't comment on Lydman's or Yelle's return to action.
Forward Dean McAmmond, hampered by a nagging back injury, was in attendance but did not skate.
Meanwhile, veteran winger Dave Lowry, out since early January with an abdominal/pelvis injury, continued to practise with the club.
